5 Star Life

5 Star Life Insurance company was founded by General Dwight Eisenhower and focused on the Military and Civil Service individual markets exclusively until 2003. In 2003 they entered the worksite business with a unique product of PERMANENT Term insurance that includes a Critical Illness benefit of 30% of the death benefit for policyholders diagnosed with Cancer, Heart Attacks and Strokes.

Face amounts range from $10,000 to $100,000 on a truly simple issue application - the "knock out" questions are designed for the worksite market and are pertinent to 5 years of history.

Perot Group - from their Lincoln - Nebraska office handles billing.

Groups must have 2 eligible employees. Employees can apply for up to $100,000 for their spouses without signature and Parents and Granparents can apply for $10,000 or $20,000 of PERMANENT term on their kids or grandkids for $1 or $2 premium per week!

The worksite program requires NO employer contribution and has NO participation percentage requirements - only 2 employees' applications. 5 Star DOES offer a very competitive group term program that the employer can also add.

Texas Occupational Accident partnership

My office in Albuquerque will focus on the West Texas areas of El Paso, Midland/Odessa, Lubbock and Amarillo and all the smaller communities in between.

Mini Med Plans - providing basic coverage

10 years ago most of the professional insurance agents would not sell "Mini-Med" plans. As we begin 2007 we see a growing acceptance of both agents selling the plans and employers offering them to their employees as an alternative to having NO medical coverage at work OR - more recently - as underlying coverage for "High Deductible Group Medical" Plans.

Major companies have entered this area of coverage - AIG Insurance - Symetra (formerly SAFECO Life) - Allstate - Pan American Life to name a few.

We partner with both top independent companies and top TPA's, MGA's and MGU's including Central United, Creative Benefits, General Agent Center, TEAM Corp, United American and World Insurance.

Plans can be written covering a single employee up to groups having thousands of employees. Both limited underwriting and guarantee issue plans are available.
